The Story of Love

01-13-04

Monte's latest album The Story Of Love presents a new dimension of this multitalented Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist. With songs ranging from Popish tunes with a flavorful "edge" to haunting love songs, this album showcases Monte's multifaceted talent with intricate musical and vocal arrangements, skillfully crafted songs and heartfelt presentations.

Monte breaks new ground with his solo piano performance titled "The Way Things Shouldn't Be" as well as a beautiful composition titled "Love's Finest Hour" which he sings in a falsetto voice from start to finish exhibiting remarkable vocal control. Monte's songs are known for having something to say about life and this CD is certainly an example of Monte's finest songwriting. Monte offers a glance into his musical life in "My Mother's Hands", a song about early guitar lessons from his Mother and his way of life during his early teens, which begins with basic chord arrangements and concludes with a highly sophisticated guitar solo. As the album title implies, this CD contains songs about love and life.

The Story Of Love is being applauded as Monte's best work by fans as well as critics. With Monte's reputation as one of the hottest "guitar slingers" on the planet, fans anticipated an album packed with the "sizzle and burn" displayed in his electrifying live performances. The Story Of Love confirms Monte isn't just a World-Class Guitar God, he's also a World-Class Singer, Composer, Arranger and Songwriter. Nonetheless Monte's fans shouldn't despair. Everything has its moment in time and for anyone that might question Monte's six-string prowess, there should be no doubt that his legendary sizzle and burn will surface on a future CD! Stay ready for the blaze!
